The practice of Douglas Stuart Chartered Architect was established in April 1982. Since then, more than 1200 building projects have been completed, including:

A full range of architectural services is offered by the firm:

• Initial feasibility studies, architectural design, working drawings, obtaining tenders, and contract administration.
• Planning and building warrant applications are dealt with on most projects.
• Additional services include site inspections for self build clients, soil percolation tests, and measured surveys.

Current developments in building technology and design are incorporated in all designs, including energy saving measures, together with sustainable and ecological design principles.

Client needs and aspirations are closely matched, and a personal service is always provided. Initial consultations are free of charge, and prior to any appointment, a fixed fee structure will be agreed.

The practice, with its architectural staff, is capable of handling a wide range and number of projects, valued from less than £50,000 up to several million pounds. A wide geographical area is covered, encompassing most of the North of Scotland.
